McAirlaid's is a specialist in the field of nonwovens and has been selling medical products such as wound and surgical pads for years. For this reason it is obvious to produce medical MNS masks for the future. MNS masks are mainly used in medical practices, hospitals and nursing homes.
The bacterial filter performance is calculated by an air flow "Staphylococcus aureus" which is passed through the mask material. The better the filter performance, the fewer bacteria pass through and the safer the mask.
The resistance is measured in Pascal (pa/cm³) by first measuring the air pressure flow in front of the filter material and then behind it. The difference in air pressure is used to calculate the breathing resistance. The goal is to achieve a low breathing resistance for high comfort and safety.
This test examines the microbiological purity of non-sterile products. The population of microorganisms on the products is tested.
In this test, the spatter resistance is measured. Synthetic blood is sprayed onto the masks and then the penetration is measured. Type IIR is a splash resistant mask.

The MNS mask has a low breathing resistance and an excellent filter performance of >98%.
Wash hands thoroughly with soap before and after wearing.
Cover mouth and nose and pull the retaining bands over your ears.
Press the nose pad down so that the mask fits well.
Pull the mask down as far as your chin, and adjsut it until your mouth and nose are fully covered.
Wear each mask only once and then dispose of it with waste.
