The filter material consists of 100 per cent cellulose, a sustainable raw material. It is EN 13432 certificated and reduces the absorption of phenol and tar. Thanks to the patented airlaid material, adhesives and bonding agents can be entirely omitted. Compared to conventional filters, which also contain synthetic acetate and synthetic bonding agents, Genia is fully compostable. Genia filters only take a few weeks to rot. Conventional cigarette ends take up to 15 years to do this.
Genia is the result of over 20 years of research. Today this filter impresses as it combines enjoyment and a sense of responsibility in white or beige and also as roll-your-own filter.
