The idea, which founded our company in 1997, is unique to this day – and uniquely successful. McAirlaid‘s is considered the biggest airlaid manufacturer, working without adhesives and bonding agents.

Founded 1997 in Steinfurt / North Rhine-Westphalia, our entrepreneurial development went beyond Germany’s borders a long time ago. Meanwhile, more than 500 employees in Germany and the USA now work to make our brand successful. Heiligenstadt, Berlingerode and Selm in Germany as well as Rocky Mount, Virginia, USA, stand as the first port of call for unique airlaids.

Good ideas have growth potential. We have been proving this for more than 25 years. SuperCore, our vision of the adhesive and bonding agent free airlaid, takes shape in a great diversity of products today. Whether in the supermarket, at work, in hospitals or at home – you come across many McAirlaid’s products in daily life. McAirlaid’s delivers these every day – from its sites in Germany and the USA around the world.
In total, McAirlaid’s operates five airlaid production sites in Germany and the USA. More than 100 processing machines are in use in order to serve the various segments of the market. We supply customers in over 70 countries. In addition to the main patent there are over 100 global patents, intellectual property to protect the brand, which build upon the SuperCore technology.

Being clear about the environment.

That is the environmental footprint of our airlaid, produced free of chlorine-bleached cellulose. It is free of synthetic adhesives, latex or bonding agents, substances, which could pollute the environment.
Our products are produced almost exclusively with PEFC-certified raw materials. Our production works with very low CO2 emissions. And since no water is used, no waste water is produced. Production buildings are climate controlled by means of efficient heat recovery methods. This is how we produce a good environmental conscience at all levels.
