This is the English translation of the term Médecins Sans Frontières and byword for the limitless readiness to help. The international organisation for medical emergency aid was founded on 21st December 1971 and is today the largest of its kind worldwide. This private aid organisation is often the last hope and always a blessing for sick and injured people in areas of crisis and war.
Godfrey Muyombya is lucky. He lives in Lwamaggwa, a village, in which the Uganda Circle Heiligenstadt e.V. is involved. When McAirlaid’s established a factory in Heiligenstadt, it heard about the project, which supports self-help. And this is how it came about that McAirlaid’s accompanies Godfrey today with a sponsorship towards the future.
In 2006 the second McAirlaid’s processing plant was established here in Thüringen. From that time onwards, we have been taking an interest in this parish of just 1,200, which we support with donations in kind time and again.
Here committed citizens help their town. And as our processing plant has been located here since 2018, we also feel connected to the town.
