The MAP Enhancer Pads from McAirlaids have doubled the shelf life of white tiger prawns (Litopenaeus vannamei) in customer use.
Before using our MAP Enhancer Pads, a minimum shelf life of 5 days was specified. With MAP Enhancer Pads, the DGHM* test results were still microbially and sensory flawless after 14 days.
Our customer then decided to double the minimum shelf life to 10 days with 40% certainty.
