When looking for a leading producer of non-woven materials and an absorption specialist, the path automatically leads to McAirlaid’s. Founded in 1997 in Steinfurt, North Rhine-Westphalia, our entrepreneurial development expanded beyond Germany’s borders a long time ago.
Meanwhile, more than 500 employees in Germany and the USA work to make our brands successful. Heiligenstadt, Berlingerode and Selm in Germany as well as Rocky Mount, Virginia, USA, stand as the first port of call for unique airlaids.
Good ideas have growth potential. We have been proving this for more than 25 years. SuperCore, our vision of an airlaid that is free of adhesives and bonding agents, take shape in a diverse array of products today. Whether in the supermarket, at work, in hospitals or at home – you come across many McAirlaid’s products in daily life. We deliver these products every day around the world from our facilities in Germany and the US.
In total, McAirlaid’s operates 5 airlaid production sites in Germany and the USA. More than 100 processing machines are in use in order to serve the various segments of the market. We supply customers in over 70 countries. To protect our brand, in addition to the main patent SuperCore, McAirlaid’s holds over 100 global patents and trademarks.

That’s why we offer additional value-added services such as custom-made product development or logistical support. With McAirlaid’s you get certainty, in all areas. Our unique and fully integrated production chain allows us to reliably fulfill the standards for food safety and deliver the eco-friendliness established in our market.
To ensure the quality of our product, McAirlaid's is proud to hold the multiple international third-party certifications. Our commitment to the environment includes low CO2 in the production of our products. We also use no fresh water, creating no effluent from production. SuperCore is produced with chlorine and bleach free cellulose. This how we support our commitment to continuous quality improvement and the environment.
